Today, specially designed Kanwar T-shirts, dry-fit sportswear, and printed devotional outfits are widely available. Many of these clothes include images or slogans dedicated to Lord Shiva, adding a sense of identity and enthusiasm among Kanwariyas.
Modern Kawad clothing is now made with breathable fabrics, sweat-absorbing materials, and durable stitching to support long journeys of 100–300 kilometers. Accessories like headbands, wristbands, and Kanwar kits are also commonly used.
