The Meerut to Haridwar Kawad Yatra is a sacred journey undertaken by devotees of Lord Shiva during the holy month of Shravan. Covering approximately 110–125 km, this route is popular among Kanwariyas who travel on foot, carrying holy Ganga water from Haridwar to offer at Shiva temples in their hometowns.

The most common route passes through Modinagar, Muradnagar, Ghaziabad bypass, Meerut Road stretches, Muzaffarnagar, and Roorkee before reaching Haridwar. Dedicated Kawad lanes, medical camps, food stalls (bhandaras), and rest shelters are set up along the highway to support pilgrims.
